Fiction for Kids’ Story Time at Brown Fox Point Early Learning Center

On November 1, Fiction for Kids hosted its first Story Time of the semester at Brown Fox Point Early Learning Center! Our members gathered to read to an eager audience of young listeners, sharing stories full of warmth, adventure, and valuable lessons.

Among the books we shared were When Poppy Lost Her Petals, a touching story about a flower named Poppy who finds courage through friendship as she battles illness. We also read Caring for Terra, a tale in which young Sarah uncovers the importance of environmental stewardship while trying to save her friend Terra from a mysterious illness. Sharing Starlight rounded out the readings, teaching the joy of generosity as Miriam learns to share the stars she loves with her friends.

These stories captivated the children, sparking curiosity, joy, and reflection on topics like perseverance, environmental care, and the value of sharing. Fiction for Kids is grateful to the Brown Fox Point Early Learning Center for hosting us and to our amazing volunteers for making this day special. We can’t wait for our next Story Time to continue inspiring young readers!

At Fiction for Kids, we’re dedicated to inspire the next generation with thoughtfully chosen stories that foster positive values. Events like this help us bring those messages to life while encouraging a love of reading in a fun environment!
